My approach
A space to step back from the work
I see supervision as a space to step back from the demands of clinical practice, think carefully about the work, and develop a deeper understanding of what may be taking place within the therapeutic relationship. Alongside exploring the client’s experience and clinical material, we can consider your own responses, the dynamics within the therapeutic relationship, and the wider context in which the work takes place.
The Seven-Eyed Model provides a helpful framework for exploring the different aspects of the therapeutic process, including the client, therapist, relationship and the supervisory relationship itself. I use this framework flexibly, allowing the supervision to respond to what feels most important in the work being brought.
I aim to provide a supervision space that is thoughtful, collaborative and psychologically safe, where you can explore complexity, uncertainty and challenge in your practice without judgement. Whether you are newly qualified, building your practice, or an experienced practitioner seeking ongoing reflective supervision, I offer a space to think, reflect and develop your therapeutic practice with care and curiosity.
